Description:
Clicking on the
NFPA icon will invoke a window depicting the familiar National
Fire Protection Association diamond. Safety Officer II
provides you with the tool to set your ratings and to print
this needed detail into labels.
The diamond-shaped
diagram located in the center of the window has been designed
to quickly communicate a general idea of the hazards
associated with a given chemical. The diamond identifies the
health, flammability and reactivity hazards of the chemical
and indicates the relative severity of each by using one of
the five numerical gradings. The quadrant on the bottom of the
diamond is reserved to indicate specific hazards such as
unusual water reactivity, radiation or strong oxidizing
properties.
