Pyrophoric:
"fire-bearing" Any liquid or solid material that will start
burning spontaneously (all by itself) at low temperatures; i.e., 130F in
air. Phosphorus and titanium dichloride are good examples. Pyrophoric
materials must be stored very carefully, often under an inert gas to keep
them from exposure to air or moisture. Some materials are included in this
group of hazards because they will spark with only a little friction.
