Poison:
Any substance which, even in very small amounts, is dangerous to life. There
are four classes of poison as defined by shipping regulatory agencies:
POISON A is a gas or liquid vapor so very toxic that extremely small amounts
will threaten life. POISON B includes liquids or solids that are
hazardous by either contact or by absorption. POISON C are those materials
which change to toxic or strongly irritating substances when exposed to air
or heat. POISON D is radioactive material.
