Clicking this
icon will take you to the First Aid window. This window
shows the immediate action to be taken in the event of
accidental exposure to, or contact with, the Working
product. The Poison Control number, positioned directly
below the scrolling first aid text field, contains the phone
number your safety officer chose as the place to call for
emergency response information for poisons.
The large
scrolling text field, in the center of the window, contains
first aid instructions for the Working product of interest.
If the contents of this field overrun its visible
boundaries, use the mouse to manipulate the scroll bar,
located at the right edge of the field, to bring the
off-screen text into view.
The Exposure
icon, located in the lower right section of the First Aid
window, enables you to navigate directly from the First Aid
window to the Exposure window for information on signs &
symptoms, toxicity data, etc. Since first aid and exposure
are so closely related, the respective buttons provide an
efficient method of switching from one category to the
other.
